It might seem like online tutoring would require a ton of expensive tech and gear, but I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to spend a fortune! Maybe you don’t consider yourself very tech-savvy, or maybe you just like to learn all about the coolest tools out there to make your online tutoring experience the best it can be! Here are some of the tools I use every day for my tutoring business as well as some of the tools my students use when they meet with me for online sessions!

Writing/Graphics Tablet
Huion HS611
This is the tablet I currently use. It is a little more pricey than some of the other options that I have listed here, but it provides a large writing surface and I love the 8 “hot keys” on the tablet and the two extra buttons on the pen!

Huion H420X
This tablet is small, which makes it great for storage and travel, but not great for long periods of use. It is Chromebook-compatible as well. It does have a battery-free pen, which is excellent, and something I would recommend getting no matter which brand/model of tablet you purchase.

Huion HS64
Slightly more expensive, but provides more working area. Not Chromebook compatible. Great for left-handed people due to the “hot keys” being at the top.

Huion Inspiroy RTE-100
This tablet is slightly more expensive than the above option, but it has a slightly larger working surface area. Otherwise, it is very similar, except that it does not say it is Chromebook-compatible.

Wacom Intuos Graphics Drawing Tablet CTL4100
Wacom is a very well-known name in the tablet industry. Most of their tablets are geared towards digital artists, which makes them very expensive, but they do offer a more affordable option with the Wacom Intuos
